Found lots of mud during our travels to the more remote ruin sites, and practiced several vehicle recovery techniques :)
In addition to the mud, we occasionally crossed paths with snakes & cattle...
Upon entering Uaxactun, we first visited the town's artifact museum (an impressive collection of pottery & other items collected from ruin excavation sites)
Set up camp at the base of the ruins...
